The MiCo, designed by Mario Bellini, an internationally celebrated Architect and Designer, was launched in 2002 and has since doubled in size.

5 Top Reasons To Visit Milan

Italy is renowned worldwide for its' great food, and Milan won't dissappoint. Everywhere you go in the city you’re going to find delicious cuisine and wine. Do yourself a favor and try true Italian pizza, you’re not going to regret it, it’s a promise.

Fantastic Nightlife

Whether you like to party or prefer to take a more quiet approach to your night, Milan has something for you.

For gorgeous small restaurants and a nice stroll under the stars, head to Brera. If you would prefer to dance your night away then the Corso Como area near the new modern district of Porta Nuova is perfect for you. For all visitors, an absolute must is the Navigli area, where you’ll find excellent cocktail bars and pubs.

It's So Easy to Navigate!

Milan is a metropolitan city with a fast, modernized and extremely efficient underground. There are four lines, divided by color, that will take you basically anywhere you wish.

The Gorgeous Green Spaces

Milan is known as Italy’s symbol of modernization and business, yet it still can stun you with its many beautiful gardens.

The city’s largest park, Parco Sempione, is located right in between the cathedral and Brera district.
At its gates, you’ll find another historic sight, the ancient Sforza Castle, which houses an Egyptian museum and the Art Library, as well as one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, called “Pietà Rondanini”. The huge garden also includes Palazzo Della Triennale, a modern organization which curates numerous art exhibits and cultural events.

There Is Art Everywhere

A visit the city's Duomo cathedral is an absolute must! The church, dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity, is representative of the Italian Gothic style and took almost six centuries to be completed. You can even enjoy a spectacular view of the Alps and the entire city from the cathedral’s roof.

Milan also houses one of the most amazing art galleries in Italy, called Pinacoteca di Brerait which includes over 500 masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, mainly by Raphael, Piero Della Francesca, Caravaggio, Mantegna, and Tintoretto.

Restricted driving zone map

Driving into a ZTL without the appropriate authorization will lead to a steep fine, and in nearly all cases tourists and non-residents are forbidden from being issued passes, as only local drivers are allowed to drive in these zones. The fines for crossing into a ZTL boundary are issued by ticket-cameras placed at the entrance of each zone, and these tickets will vary in price based on the city you're driving in. Typically you can expect to pay approximately 65 EUR if you drive into a ZTL zone in Italy, plus a "Traffic Violation Fee" of around 25 EUR charged by your local car rental supplier.
